i was building a saas and needed a feedback board. canny starts at $79/mo and jumps to $311 at 500 tracked users, $661 at 2,500. for a board where users upvote ideas. and the api is gated behind enterprise.
featurebase, userjot, frill — better pricing, but the api story is the same. locked behind a higher tier or missing entirely.
so i built spirby.
